About The Old Post 33

The History

The Old Post 33 resides in the heart of downtown Bristol, Virginia in what was once the original Post Office built in 1933. The recent restorations have brought this magnificent historical building back to life.

Services

The Old Post 33 boasts a generous and spacious seating space for your guests and event needs.

The once postal sorting galley is now our main Ballroom, which has a capacity of 435 guests.

Old Post 33 features a Speakeasy Bar in our basement, allowing for an additional 365 guests.

Upstairs on the 3rd floor, we have an elegant Bridal Suite, with 2 additional dressing rooms as well as a Grooms Suite which has its own convenient entrance into the ballroom.

The original Postmaster's Office is now home to our Boutique 33, boasting a wonderful array of items to shop.
